Who we are

Local SEO Services ("we", "us") provides local search marketing to UK businesses and, where you ask us to, introduces your enquiry to a vetted local SEO partner covering your area. We are the data controller for the details you give us through this site.

What we collect

When you use the audit form, contact form or instant website scan we collect what you type: company name, phone number, email address, website address, business postcode, the service you're interested in, your business type and budget range, and any message you write. We also record which page the form was on (including the town it relates to) so we know which area your enquiry is about.

The instant website scan collects the website address you enter and the public results of Google's PageSpeed test and a fetch of your homepage. Nothing from the scan is stored until you ask for the full report.

Like most websites we also collect standard technical data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, through Google Analytics with consent where required.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare your audit and provide the services you ask for.
• To introduce your enquiry to a vetted local SEO partner covering your area, where you have ticked the box agreeing to this.
• To keep a record of enquiries and the work done for you.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.

We do not sell your details and we do not add you to marketing lists without asking.

Sharing with partners

If you tick the consent box on an audit request, we may pass your enquiry (the details above, including the scan results where you ran one) to one vetted local SEO partner covering your area so they can contact you about it. Partners are contractually required to use your details only for that purpose and to treat them in line with UK data protection law. You can ask us at any time which partner received your enquiry.

Who processes it for us

• FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) delivers form submissions to us by email.
• Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets and Apps Script) stores enquiries and runs the instant scan.
• Google PageSpeed Insights tests the website address you enter in the scanner.
• Google Analytics measures site usage.
• Duda hosts this website.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK under standard contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to two years from your last contact with us, then deleted. If you become a client, records are kept for the length of the engagement and six years afterwards for accounting purposes.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or withdraw consent to partner sharing at any time by emailing localseoservicesteam@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
